Develop a High Performance Mind

by Dr Jill Ammon-Wexler
Personal Excellence Mentor and Pioneer Brainwave Researcher

You are a Movie Star

Your sense of "who you are" is created by a unique movie that constantly plays in your brain!

And guess who is the STAR of the movie? YOU are, of course!

And you are also the screenwriter … camera operator … producer … and director. Plus you are also both the movie studio and the movie theater. Rather -- your brain is all of this!

The true answer to who you are springs from your self-consciousness -– your awareness of yourself.

But this awareness is NOT a fixed reality. It's a moving stream of images based on your memories of who you've been in the past ... your sense of who you are now ... and your expectations of who you will be in the future.

Your brain is constantly creating and interpreting who you are ... and actively edits your movie when you are dreaming or daydreaming.

How Your Dreams Contribute

Ever wondered why you dream? For much of history dreams were considered to be warnings of coming supernatural events … and even messages from the gods.

But today's scientists claim that dreams arise from your natural brain's talent for making images and telling stories.

We now know that dreaming seems to organize and cement memories in your brain. And many psychologists believe we ARE our memories. So your dreams definitely DO help write and revise the screenplay for the movie in your mind -– your interpretation of who you are.

What About Daydreams?

In many ways, daydreams contribute even more to your internal movie than your conscious thinking reality.

How can that be so?

Because your daydreams are actually a major tool you use to envision and create your future.

Stop and think about that. This puts daydreaming into an entirely new light. Your teachers were not totally right when they tried to get you to stop daydreaming! Daydreaming is actually a future-creating process.

Do you daydream of being a great actor … a Fortune 500 president … a champion athlete … a best-selling author? If you can dream it –- you can achieve it!

The secret is to wake up and go to work!

The Power of Passion

Your daydreams actually rehearse the movie of your potential future reality. So here's something that is very, very important to remember: Your all-important subconscious mind views the contents of your daydreams as REAL. It cannot tell the difference between your “real” movie script ... and your “daydream movie script.”

Plus … the more time your spend “daydreaming” of exactly how you want your future movie to unfold ... the more solid that reality settles into your physical brain.

Then the minute you begin to add passionate desire and intense emotion to your daydream visions ... the more irresistible that future movie becomes to your innermost mind.

You will then soon find yourself automatically taking actions you previously only dreamed of. So -- your emotions truly DO have a very special power over who you will become in the future.
(Careful what you daydream about!)

The Secret to Movie Star Success

Here are a few secrets to getting your personal movie to truly work in your favor:

  1. Choose your script carefully
For your daydreams to unfold into your desired waking life, you’re going to have to really WANT them to do so. It’s critically important to pick a “script” your innermost self really likes and wants to play.

This is why it is so important to make sure your goals are absolutely based on your true passions. You want to choose a "script" that will create your IDEAL LIFESTYLE.

  2. Direct yourself well
Once you're certain you have selected the right script (one you have real passion for), you’ll then want to be sure you play your role of “director” well. A first-class award-winning movie does NOT just happen -– it is the creation of a thoughtful, skilled Director.

This is about designing and planning where your movie is going, and how it will get there ... about CREATING TRULY-ACHIEVABLE GOALS that will make your movie a winner!
